I'm back in the office after Eve's winter refit and it feels very strange to be fumbling around on computers again. My main mission during the day is to make the website interesting for you, and help our new full time skipper Paddy develop his own style of Eve voyages.
Current obsessions include:
2011 aim whilst skippering Eve - to get as many people swimming in the sea as possible.
I want to do the Castle to Castle open water swim in May and St Mawes Triathlon in September. Only problem is I am the slowest cyclist in the world - despite the new bike....and the laziest runner.
Hoping to get ashore on the South Orkney Islands way down in the Weddell Sea next Christmas. See Barque Europa Centennial Voyage.
SPONSOR ME - 29th May 2011
On the last day of Classic Sailing Pilot Cutter Review, I am slipping off to try the Castle to Castle Open Water Swim. I think I was 399 out of 400 other mad idiots who think they can cope with face down front crawl accross the Falmouth Estuary in late May and about 12 degrees C water temperature. Yes it is in a wet suit but the bad news is your bum floats so you have to swim with your head in the water. Ice cream head. Training in the pool at the moment but need to get down to the beach soon.
Funds are going to RNLI beach lifeguards.
You can dontate very simply on my Just Giving Site
Thanks Fiona for starting the ball rolling.
