Eve of St Mawes and St Anthony LighthouseRevive yourself - short breaks

Relax in Cornwall on Eve of St Mawes

We speak English pretty well down here in Cornwall but things tend be very much more laid back than “up country”. We have a local expression that goes “I’ll do it drekly” literal translation means “I will do that directly” actually it is a bit like the Spanish “manana manana” for “I’ll do it tomorrow” but not quite as urgent as that!

So if the pace of life is wearing you out we can give you that all important break – sail away from the crowds – enjoy the fresh air – join in, stretch, relax and revive.

St Mawes and the Fal are recognised as one of the most desirable sailing areas any where in the world not just Cornwall. It’s not surprising really as we have clear waters, deep seas, sheltered estuaries and romantic harbours and inns.

The CelticCoast’s seem to be are speciality and the reason being these beautiful coasts are unspoilt by massive developments, big towns and cities. We are the places you want to go to get away from the rush, hassle and pressure of modern life.

Lizzie Mays short breaks are all sailed in the outer Clyde around the islands of Arran, Little Cumbrae Island, Rothsey and maybe going through the Kyles of Bute. There are wonderful anchorages and pleasing harbours just waiting for you to appreciate them. Set out – sail away – shore yourself up with some super sailing.
