Age of sailorsIts the attitude to life and the sea that makes it so much fun for everyone

Children

For children aged 8 and under 16 we require that they sail with their parents or legal guardian on Eve, Annabel J or Halcyon. The Tall Ships are licensed youth training providers and can take children from 14 depending on the voyage designation. Please see the Tall Ship Schedule, Click Here

Old Salts

There are no upper age limits on AJ, Halcyon or Eve but a level of fitness is required as appropriate for the voyage, if in any doubt at all please call us for advice on 01872 58 00 22.
On the Tall Ships each voyage has an upper age limit as part of its description, this could be 18, 25, 65, 70 or 75, please see the Tall Ship Schedule, Click Here

Average Age

If you sail on the Tall ships youth voyages then you know that you are all going to be about the same age. On all other voyages you will find a wide range of ages. Actually it does not make a lot of difference; we have seen long lasting friendships develop between retired voyagers and young people. It’s the attitude to life and the sea that makes it so much fun for everyone. Not knowing who you will meet is exciting, remember you are all in the same boat, it really does work like that!
