Classic Sailing believes in traditional ships that turn heads wherever you see them, in adventure voyages that respect the oceans and wildlife and in finding unspoilt sailing grounds that take your breath away.

Antarctica, Spitsberegen - Svaslbard Islands, 2009 Tall Ships Races, Bermuda to Charleston South Carolina, Charleston to Boston, Boston to Halifax Nova Scotia and Halifax across the Atlantic to Belfast. Norway and the Hebrides and much more.

Something for everyone.

We all need some excitement in our lives and this can be a short break weekend sail on Annabel J in the Solent or Lizzie May in Scotland. Or it could be a big Trans Atlantic Voyage on Europa, Oosterschelde or Stavros S Niarchos; or bigger still Europa's voyage to the Antarctic; and everything in between.

Taster voyages for beginners without any pressure to study for qualifications just come along and get an idea of how much fun you can have sailing. 

Taster voyages for traditional gaff sailing  for those who want to get to grips with proper sailing.

Taster voyages are run on Eve of St Mawes, Annabel J and Lizzie May in Cornwall , Scotland and the Solent .

RYA Competent Crew

These RYA courses for beginners cover the basics of sailing theory, rope handling, knot work and sail handling. They are designed to help you step aboard any vessel and become a useful part of the crew.

Are you hungry for command? This RYA course teaches skippering skills and the practical application of navigation theory. With the support of your instructor, you take charge for short passages.

Adventure Sailing

We have 7 ways you can join an adventure sailing holiday, so if you no experience or lots we voyages that you will enjoy and talk happily about long afterwards. Remember – you are the crew – there is no sailing without your involvement.
