Annabel J - Shakedown and Mates Selection

Shakedown voyages are ideal for getting to know a boat. We will try everything out to make sure is all be set up correctly and is in full working order. Mates training enables you to learn all about sailing on Anabel J. You will become fully experienced in setting, trimming, and dropping the sails, preparing for anchoring and coming alongside.

Those approved by the skipper can act on future voyages as a mate. That entitles you to sail at half price on certain voyages such as to the Isles of Scilly or France

which can save you a lot of money. All meals are available on board but a visit to a local pub is often available to sample the local characters and flavours.
