Eve of St Mawes

Eve is the smallest of our fleet but also the prettiest boat. She is 51ft overall, 38ft on deck and nearly fifteen tons so in comparison to modern yacht she is a lot more solid. In 2097she will be 100 years old and still looking good, there are not many 12 year old boats that you can say that about.

She sleeps seven people including the skipper in good sized bunks and sail in Cornwall, the Isles of Scilly and to Brittany.

Sunday 21st June

The Cove, St Agnes, the Isles of Scilly

Eve arrived here this evening after a calm passage from St Mawes with light winds that required some motoring to get here at all. We spotted some sunfish on the way and we are no tucked up between Gugh and St Agnes with seven other yachts. We’ve been to the local pub the Turks Head but had a bit of a surprise on leaving the pub, a sea mist had come in and we had to be very sure of our way back to Eve. We found her alright but the next stop if we had missed was Brittany!!
