Gaff Sailing & Gourmet Food in the Western Isles of Scotland If you are looking for a voyage with a great difference then sailing with Laurie on Lizzie May's last gourmet voyage of the year is the perfect answer. Laurie, the skipper, is a renowned for his excellent cooking and congenial sailing skills. There is no better way to see the wonderful Western Islands of Scotland. By land you travel miles and miles for the occasional view, by boat you are surrounded by wonderful sights the whole time. This voyage starts in Oban and finishes not far away in Fort William, there is a regular coach service between the two towns. There is a train but you would have to go half way around Scotland to make the connection!

To celebrate this achievement we are running this Autumn Voyage with Debbie as Skipper. Like all our voyages the idea is to build your confidence in sailing and no previous experience is required.

Enjoy a weekend sailing in the Solent on Annabel J, starting and finishing in the Hamble near Southampton.
There are often some nice autumn blasts of wind but the great thing about the Solent waters is there is always a place to sail without big seas.

London to Poole by Tall Ship Stavros NiarchosSail on British Tall Ship from the heart of the city - actually alongside HMS Belfast down the Thames and into the North Sea.
This is a seven day voyage and you are only going as far as Poole.
This means there are plenty of opportunities to visit ports in Holland, possibly Amsterdam, in France any where from Calais to Rouen and also Zeebrogger in Belgium. The Channel Islands are also very possible.
Remember where the ships sails is dependent on wind tides and the Captains decision.
