LM901 - Lizzie May - Scottish Weekend sailing break - Full Price £320

Friday 10 to Sunday 12 April 09 - 3 Days
Eve’s skippers watched Lizzie May being built and she is like a big sister to us. Four foot longer than Eve and a much loftier rig, she turns heads wherever she goes.

Launched by the last surviving Scillies Pilot from the days of sail—Alf Jenkins in 1999, she has had many adventures. When former Eve guest, Jerry Headley, found her for sale he couldn't resist her charms. She began her new life as a charter boat in 2008 with Jerry as skipper and is now based in on the Clyde, Scotland.

Traditional Escape

Lizzie May

Self sufficient with heating, a cosy saloon, blocks and tackles to pull and a chunky barrel windlass for anchoring. Lizzie May will take you back to a simpler life and to the joy of sailing traditional craft. After the sail sit in comfort and enjoy good food.

Scottish Weekend Breaks
Based in Largs on the Firth of Clyde for most the season Lizzie May is easy to reach from Glasgow and has superb sailing grounds on her doorstep. Delight in open sea sailing under the mountain ridges of Arran, along the Mull of Kintyre peninsula or the gannet colony on Ailsa Craig. In wilder weather navigate the narrow Kyles of Bute or seek out kippers and oysters at Tarbert, Loch Fyne.
