Sailing is good for the soul and helps you become healthy.Sailing is good for you – it’s official!

Sailing is good for you – official research by the Interdisciplinary Centre for the Environment and Society at the University of East Anglia highlights why. Green Exercise is a research paper that tells us the benefits of physical activity in natural settings.

When you sail with Classic Sailing we always look for the best natural environment for our voyages, why bother going anywhere else! All our holidays are activity based where your activity sets and trim the sails, steer the ship, keeps a good lookout for safety and wildlife spotting.

Even if you can only get away for a short break you will benefit from natural exercise in the healthy out of doors. The say a change is as good as a rest, sailing on a beautiful boat in areas of outstanding beauty  is simply the best.

Three Short Breaks to make you healthy.

Today we have three voyages for you to choose from, one on each of Annabel J and Eve of St Mawes our southrtn pilot cutters and one on Bessie Ellen our West Country Ketch, all these short holidays will perk you up.
