Seasonal offerings worth celebrating...

Sailing frequently features on people's 'things to do before I die' lists.  We offer year round voyages and commonly appear in press features suggesting things to do by month or season.

Early Spring Sunshine

Tall ship Stavros S Niarchos travels between the Canaries, Azores and Madeira during the spring months.

These short breaks banish the winter blues and lift the spirits.  Stavros has 18 sails and is an awe inspiring sight when all are set.

Each crew memeber is assigned to a watch team and works 4 hour shifts with 8 hours off.  The perfect warm up for summer.

Gourmet Voyages in the Western Isles

A wonderful summer treat is a seafood and sailing weekend on wooden pilot cutter Lizzie May in Western Scotland.

Skipper Laurie Mills owned an award winning restaurant for 10 years before combining his passions aboard Lizzie May.

The freshest Scottish seafood is collected from local fishermen enroute to give crew the very best in oysters, linguistine, mussels, king scallops, crabs, cockles and lobster.

Autumn Sailing

With clear blue skies and beautiful light September and October can be stunning times to sail the UK.

Once the kids have gone back to school parents can reclaim some time doing their own thing.

On colder days hauling the ropes will keep crew warm and there's nowhere more cosy than a pilot cutter's wooden candlelit cabin on autumn evenings.

Winter Sunshine

Those that can't bear the UK's short days should join Soren Larsen for her New Zealand exploration or Oosterschelde's Cape Verde voyages this winter.

This type of trip is great for gap years, as part of a longer adventure, as an alternative to a beach holiday and simply as a sailing treat.

National Geographic Adventure Magazine nominated a voyage on Soren Larsen as one of the ‘25 Greatest Trips in the World’ - a true must do experience.

The Ultimate White Christmas

The majestic Barque Europa spends Christmas and New Year discovering the Antarctic for a 22 day voyage.

This extraordinary environment offers the opportunity to see humpback whales, penguins, seals and all manner of unusual wildlife.

Together with breathtaking scenery, this makes for an unforgettable Christmas.
