New eco initiatives
Do you really need to come by car? You won’t be using it whilst you sail!
Classic Sailing has always been keen to promote good ecological and environmental policies and has implemented an eco policy for many years. It’s quite natural when you consider we sail as much as possible and use the engine as little as possible.
Lift Sharing
We often get asked if we can assist people joining a voyage by sharing transport. For us there are data protection issues and peoples starting points are very varied.
The solution is liftshare.org a highly reputable and national scheme to help people use fewer cars, not only for holiday travel but also for getting to work or visiting friends and family etc. So wherever your starting from the is a good chance you can find somebody coming to Falmouth, Truro or parts of Cornwall.
Free Ferry Tickets.
