Sailing for groups

Classic Sailing welcomes groups and families.

Groups of Friends and Colleagues from Work

All our voyages are open to any group but the numbers may be limited by previous bookings and the capacity of the vessel.

Eve our smallest boat takes 6 overnight and 8 on a day sail. At the top of the range Bessie Ellen takes 12 overnight and 30 on a day sail. However it is possible to have more than one boat. Annabel J takes 10 by day and 8 overnight and often sails in company with Eve of St Mawes. Lizzie May in Scotland will take 8 by day and 6 by night.

Classic Sailing Whole Boat Charter

All our vessels can be booked for the whole boat or ship

We provide the Captain/Skipper and all required professional crew to ensure you have a safe and enjoyable voyage. We can provide boats in the Solent, Cornwall, Denmark and Scotland.

Due to bookings already made it is advisable to book well in advance for whole boat charters. Though we may be able to find a suitable vessel at short notice.

Family Voyages

Many families have sailed with Classic Sailing but we do have to be careful to find the right combiantion of boat and family.

On Eve for instance we do need at least four adults to sail the boat whilst on Bessie Ellen the professional crew can cope with a larger numbers of children.

We do need to know the age and experience of all those sailing to help us find the best vessel for you. Children have to be ten years and over and accompanied by their parent or legal guardian.
