Historic little private harbour owned by Square Sail - a tall ship company that makes period films. Famous as the set for the TV drama The Onedin Line and many other 'frilly blouse' fims like Hornblower TV series.

A natural ampitheatre and great setting for your friends or relatives to come and wave goodbye from. Charlestown is tidal, so access both in and out is determined by high tide times. We will advise you nearer to departure of the exact joining times.

Charlestown is very near St Austell Railway station on the main London - Penzance Intercity rail line i.e. 10 minute taxi ride.
