Cork - Getting there and away

Many regional airports serve airlines flying to and from Cork, including Birmingham, Bristol, Edinburgh, Glasgow, Liverpool, Gatwick, Heathrow, Stanstead, Manchester and Newcastle. You will find a complete list here with airlines. From the UK it would appear that Ryanair and Aer Lingus hold the monopoly.

By ferry you can sail from Cork to Swansea on the Fastnet Line. At the time of writing this would mean staying on in Ireland after the voyage until 14th June, for their next departure. This is the most direct and convenient route.

Irish Ferries have a ferry service from Rosslare to Pembroke which does have more frequent departures.

Stena line also have several departures from Rosslare to Fishguard. Prices for these are all very competitive.

Cork - Rosslare is a bus ride.
