Denmark is a small country with an excellent train network, so starting and finishing in different ports is not as complicated as you might think. Plan your route with a journey planner in English on the national railway website www.dsb.dk. It is very easy but sophisticated planner complete with maps and detailed itineraries you can have emailed to yourself, wonderful.
