Plymouth

There are several marinas and docks in Plymouth, so please check your confirmation letter for details of which marina to come to:

Queen Anns Battery (QAB) - a busy marine not often used for Classic Sailing crew changeovers.

Mayflower Marina - to the west of the city centre, and has some long pontoons so is often used for our larger vessels.

Turnchapel / Mountbatten Marina - Big pontoons but a long way from city centre by car. Can be reached by foot ferry from Barbican.

Sutton Harbour - the most central but again not always possible for larger vessels.

SUTTON HARBOUR

Sutton Harbour is beside the Barbican in a very famous and historic part of Plymouth.

The National Marine Aquarium is also beside the Sutton Harbour

It has many art galleries and excellent restaurants and pubs.

It is also close by the City Bus Station and convenient for Coach Travel. The railway station is about a ten minute taxi ride away.

Getting to or from your port.
