Adam is no longer able to skipper Eve of St Mawes due to deep vein thrombosis (DVT) and therefore can not act as a back up to a full time skipper for Eve. Adam has in all our 12 seasons been called upon for such service, in 2008 for two months. It has therefore been decided to withdraw Eve of St Mawes from service. Adam will be concentrating on finding adventure sailing voyages for our customers to enjoy on a selection of other great boats and tall ships.
Lizzie May is a sister ship to Eve of St Mawes and she offers wonderful voyages in Scotland.

The Atlantic Ocean and the remoteness of Cornwall bring their own special rewards; oaks are adorned with lichen – a sign of crystal clear air quality. Unpolluted seas and the Gulf Stream provide unexpected sightings of turtles, sunfish and regular visits by dolphins, whales and basking sharks. Gales often bring in wheeling gannets, tiny storm petrels, guillemots, razorbills and even puffins.
The Fal and Helford Estuaries are designated Special Areas of Marine Interest. Breeding seals hide in sea caves and the drowned river valleys or rias have dense oak woodlands with branches sweeping down to deep green waters. At low tide the mudflats are home to egrets, oyster catchers, wading birds, otters and at night, from your bunk you can hear owls hooting in the darkness.
Our Skippers have learned from various local wildlife experts invited on board and are accredited (WiSe) wildlife safe operators.
